Product Overview
The stainless steel corrugated hose for gas transportation is made of small diameter ring-shaped SUS304 or SUS316L austenitic stainless steel corrugated hose and outer packaging PVC flame-retardant plastic. It is a new type of pipeline for indoor natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, etc. The manufacturing inspection standard for this product is GB/T 26002 "Stainless Steel Corrugated Hose for Gas Transportation."
Piping Construction Steps
1. Cut the Hose:
Measure the required length of the hose and cut it with a pipe cutter.
2. Strip the Outer Protective Sleeve:
Use a stripping tool to strip the end of the hose by a length of 8 wave distances (for fittings with leakage detection function, strip by 10 wave distances).
3. Cut the Original Pipe:
Use a pipe cutter to cut the original pipe at a position leaving 4 waves (for fittings with leakage detection function, leave 5-6 waves; for simple joint fittings, leave 3 waves). The cut end face must be neat without burrs, dents, rough edges, cracks, or oval defects.
4. Flattening and Compressing the Pipe End:
Open the special flattening tool and place two waves of the original pipe end into the clamping teeth of the forming tool. Close the handle of the opening tool and apply pressure until the pipe end is flattened.
5. Installation Connection of Hose and Fittings:
Connect the fitting to the required connection point, place the fitting nut on the flattened hose end, while also clamping two wave clips onto the first and second waves beside where the original pipe has been flattened. Insert a joint with an installed sealing ring and tighten it with a wrench until secure; perform leakage inspection.
