Key Words
The "VICOME" polyethylene (PE) gas pipeline is widely used in the gas transmission and distribution field. Its long service life, excellent corrosion resistance, reliable connection performance and safety features, as well as lower construction and maintenance costs, have made it popular among gas users.
According to the different grades of raw materials, polyethylene gas pipes are divided into two grades: PE80 and PE100. Based on standard dimension ratios, they are divided into four series: SDR11, SDR17, SDR21, and SDR26. Among them, SDR11 and SDR17 are the preferred series; SDR11 is suitable for the transmission and distribution of various gaseous media such as natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (gaseous), and artificial coal gas. SDR17 is suitable for natural gas transmission and distribution, while SDR21 and SDR26 are commonly used for non-excavation gas pipeline repairs.
Product Specifications
The pipe size range is dn20mm~dn800mm. The standard supply length of the pipe is generally 12m; pipes with a diameter of dn63mm (inclusive) or less can be coiled.
Product Appearance
"VICOME" gas PE pipes are generally black (PE80 or PE100), yellow (PE80), or orange (PE100). The PE80 black pipes have yellow stripes; the PE100 black pipes have orange stripes.
Manufacturing Standards
"VICOME" polyethylene (PE) pipes for gas are produced according to GB15558.2. They can also be produced according to ISO4437 or other general standards based on user needs.
